Villa
Victoria is located on the best site within a private resort and is
a plantation style executive class luxury villa. On one side lies
260 acres of lush vegetation of the Grafton Caledonia Bird Sanctuary
and on the other, the spectacular view of the world famous Buccoo
Reef and the Caribbean Sea.
Villa Victoria is an executive class plantation house. The design
and colour reflect the large plantation houses of the past, but Victoria
has all the modern amenities one could need for a relaxing holiday.
Throughout the villa, the use of French doors, wooden louvres, large
ceiling fans and a traditional plantation, Demerara kitchen window,
helps to create that old-fashioned Caribbean flavour. |

The villa has two
separate driveways leading up to two separate entries. One entry
is to the kitchen and the other to the main floor bedroom. There
are two ocean view patios, one from the living room and one
off the main floor bedroom. Separating the patios is an 8ft
x 10ft “cocktail/plunge” pool, perfect for relaxing
after a day of sun and surf or sightseeing or an after dinner
dip! |

The patios have table, chairs and a gas
Webber barbecue. Extending off the front of the patios is a
large expanse of lawn, useful for sunbathing or bird watching.
The kitchen is very well equipped with a large fridge/freezer,
cooker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster/oven, extensive gourmet
cookware, coffee maker, electric juicer, blender and much, much
more. The tableware is hand painted in tropical colours and
the glassware is extensive. Additionally there are complete
sets suitable for outdoor use.
The dining table is made of a beautifully crafted baby rattan
base, topped with half an inch thick specially manufactured
glass. The living room furniture echoes the tropical fabric
in the dining room, with an over-stuffed sofa (which converts
to a queen size bed) and matching baby rattan and upholstered
fabric chair. There is a Toshiba television and VCR combo set
on a swivel base, together with a brand new, multi-region DVD
player. This will also play CDs, CDRs and MP3s. DVDs and NTSC
videos can be hired locally. Large folding French doors open
onto the covered patio and the plunge pool.

At the other end of the hallway
is the main floor bedroom, which has 2 double beds with top
of the line Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress sets. The bedroom
has its own dedicated remote controlled, ceiling mounted, whisper
quiet, air-conditioner, a large ceiling fan and an electric
clock radio. Large double French doors open onto the patio.
The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with WC, washbasin, shower
and a wall-mounted electric hair dryer.
The master bedroom upstairs has a king-size bed, matching queen
size pullout sofa and coffee table. A top of the line Serta
Perfect Sleeper mattress set ensures one of a luxurious night’s
sleep. The bedroom has 2 closets, an electric clock radio, a
large ceiling fan and a dedicated remote controlled, ceiling
mounted, whisper quiet air-conditioner. Directly opposite the
bed are French doors that open onto a private Juliet balcony
revealing the breath-taking view of the ocean and Buccoo reef.
The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with WC, washbasin, shower
and a wall-mounted electric hair dryer.
The guest bedroom upstairs has twin rattan beds, again with
Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses. French doors open onto another
private Juliet balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea. There
is a large ceiling fan and again a dedicated remote controlled,
ceiling mounted, whisper quiet air-conditioner. The bedroom
has an ensuite bathroom with WC, washbasin, shower and overlooks
the bird sanctuary.
